New Year - New Way To Double Your Business

On the eve of 2006 I wanted to first of all wish you a Happy Holiday season and massive success in the coming year :-)

The feedback I’ve gotten from the eletter has been extremely positive and uplifting. I’m honored that you give me “Mind Capture” twice a month and I take the research, topic selection and writing of each eletter very seriously.

To start 2006 with fresh excitement I’d like to share with you a simple way to double your business. Sound too good to be true? Have I lost my mind on spiked egg nog or excessive holiday treats?

No…what I’m about to share is something that’s

So profound,
So revolutionary,
So foolishly simple,

That I was tempted to NOT share this amazing marketing strategy with you for fear you wouldn’t believe me. Read on if you dare…

Here it is: Ask every customer for help with growing your business in the new-year. I’ll explain. Deep down all humans want to help each other especially those we trust or know who are reliable. Here’s the problem: We don’t ask others for help especially when it comes to growing our business.

I challenge you to humble yourself and ask every client for help. I’ll even give you a shortcut question to modify and use either in person, on the phone, in the mail or via email.

“Jane can I ask you for your help? (Wait for their response) We’d like to keep growing and helping more people with our __________, who do you personally know or recommend that may have an interest in our product/service that I could send information too or contact regarding our latest promotion/offer?

Let me explain the math on this scenario. Let’s say that 60% of your 200 customers respond to your question by giving you three names for a total of 360 leads. Let’s say one in three leads convert over the next 12-months into new business for a total of 120 new clients.

I know the math initially doesn’t add up but here’s the next key step. Ask these new clients the same question throughout the year and start the whole process over again. Out of these leads you should be able to pick up at least a couple hundred more leads with a chance at converting 80-100 more prospects into new business. BINGO – you’ve just doubled the size of your customer base.

Can I ask for your help? Can you forward this message to two or three fellow business associates who’d like to grow their business in 2006? I thank you in advance!

Well there you have it. It’s amazing what can happen when we humble ourselves with an attitude of service and simply ask others for help.

Helping Others Achieve Marketing & Communication Breakthroughs!

Sincerely,

Tony Rubleski
